The Broadcast Multimedia Lab (RCC-229) - was established to support the multimedia activities inherent in the school of Radio and Television Arts and the television industry as a whole. The facility is focused on streaming media and the development of interactive media projects. Containing twenty-five iMac computers, the lab includes a wide array of website development tools including ProTools 9 bundled with M-Box, Final Cut Studio 3, Apple QuickTime, DVD Studio Pro, Adobe Design Premium CS5.5 (Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, etc), Final Draft, iLife '09 suite, Microsoft Office 2011 and EP Movie Magic Budgeting. Two flatbed scanners are also available for use.

For teaching, the lab contains an HDTV projection system, a Blu-ray/DVD player, a Dolby surround sound system and a complete multi-projector Access node. The 24" iMac 2.66GHz computers are equipped with 4 gig DDR3 memory. Each computer contains a 640 gig hard drive SATA, Super Drive (8xDVDRW), USB and IEEE-1394A connectivity.
