This is where we'll discuss the uncharted areas of our research project and any new items of interest that are uncovered.

One discovery that was made early on in this research project was just how complex it was to flowchart interactive games. Not only are there several genres of interactive games (i.e. simulation, edutainment, 3-D worlds, interactive stories, constructive), it seems as if each genre has its own kind of interactivity and unique navigation. It's unlikely that one flowcharting system can be used for all these different types of interactive games. Perhaps other methods of flowcharting will have to be developed to account for these differences.
Matrix Flowcharts
One particular flowcharting method that was mentioned in the literature
reviewed was matrix flowcharts, and there could be some useful applications to
this method.
